It’s Christmas Eve my sweet.
Things have been a little difficult for us today. Life’s just not the same without you here.
There are no lights that are as bright as you.
Always you’ll be here by my side my sweet. You’re my heart, my soul, my melody.
My tears from my eyes they weep.
My heart ripped right out, the veins are constricting with nothing to bleed out.
My wounds they need healing. The only cure is you.
Wishing that I could hold you now.

I laid down this afternoon to catch up on your journal entries. My heart and soul are screaming thinking about the empty moments you are experiencing. I admire your strength, truly. Today I vow to be thankful for every second I have with Jace. You remind me of the important things Rachel. You, Scott, and Avie are in our hearts and prayers always.
