Dear Avie,
Among the many pictures that I have of you in my office, one in particular is standing out to me tonight.
The picture is sitting here nicely framed upon my desk. I took this picture of you a week before you left us. You were on your iPad, or what you would call your hi-Pad.
I remember that moment as if it happened yesterday. I was lying next to you and I looked over at you, the iPads illuminated screen lit up your face, you looked soo beautiful. The urge to go and grab my camera quickly pushed me out of bed and onto my feet. As I snapped the photograph of you, my finger pushing down on the shutter button.
If only I would have known that this was going to be one of the very last pictures that I would ever be able to take of you.
No longer do I have you at my arms reach but I have you in these pictures that I keep.
