Dear Avie,
I peered out the window.
A mother moose and her calf stood outside the window staring back at me.
The calf stood closely by her mother’s side.
They were both plucking away at the brush trying to find something delectable to eat.
I stepped outside the front door with my camera in my hand.
They moved swiftly and gracefully across the lawn.
The snow was belly deep.
The protective nature of the Momma Moose reminded me of our bond.
She has a soul to keep.
You came to me in the form of a moose today, my sweet.
Xoxo- Mommy
