My name is Rachel Marney, I’m a survivor, and a person who is trying to find my way in this world after the death of my only child. I’ve been writing to my daughter since she passed away, and now I want to share my raw and unfiltered journal entries with you.

I want to help heal others in the same way that my words are beginning to help heal me.

My daughters name is Avelynn Mae Marney, all of her friends call her Avie. She came into this world two and a half years ago and sadly she had to leave. Even though her time here on earth was short, she was able to touch many people with her strength and perseverance.

She achieved what she was called here on earth to do and now I’m going to share her story with you.
